The Friendship Rug was a group project of the Dutchess County Rug Hookers Guild.  We designed a rug with 4" squares for each participant.  Then we passed our rugs around the group for each participant to hook one of the squares.  Each participant hooked the same design on each rug.  Then they were given back to the original owner for the finishing touches.
