The Garden Gate
This is the largest rug I have hooked so far. It is 37' x 32". It took me a year and a day to complete. This piece won first place and best of department at the Dutchess County Fair in August of 2023 and a Blue Ribbon at the Big E September 2024. It also won a special award for best use of color in a hooked rug at the Big E.
This gate is at the Strand in Kingston. I saw it full of weeds and thought how beautiful it would be if it were filled with flowers. So I created my own!
